August’s Mission = Operation Heatstroke

Bottom Line Up Front: This scenario-based, team-paced, mission honors our U.S. Military Medical Personnel! Your team must select one day to complete this mission.

*Subject to Change. Warning Order (WARNO): Informs units of a forthcoming Operational Order (OPORD).

Why: In honor of our U.S. Military Medical Personnel. The medical diagnosis code for heatstroke is 992.0.

What: *9.92 miles and 8 exercises. Done as fast as possible in one day/one event, not broken up in weeks like our other monthly missions.

When: One day only. Your team will select for the date range, 23AUG - 31AUG. This allows time for your shirt to arrive to wear during the mission.

Where: Anywhere. This is a virtual mission.

Who: Not for the frail. Open to all and for all fitness levels but understand that this WILL be very difficult. Teams only. Minimum of 4. Everyone does all the miles and reps. Not divided between Team Members.

Uniform: Current Operation Heatstroke t-shirt required. No others are authorized. Your shorts, socks, and shoes.

Required Load: One regular-sized bottle of Pedialyte® (or off-brand), first aid kit. More info about require items provided to Team Leaders.

Cost: $45, which includes a t-shirt and challenge coin (free shipping)!
