Why: Build camaraderie, connect with the community, celebrate the start of autumn. Beer!
What: A challenging team-paced 50K ruck. Start as a team, finish as a team (Training for the main Ruck ‘N’ Run event)
When: September 28, 2019 | Showtime: 8:30 am. Step off: 9am.
Online registration is required. Completing this challenge gets you a t-shirt and a finisher’s medal that’s a custom Ruck ‘N’ Run 50 caliber bottle opener, and of course, bragging rights. Donations will go towards the Ruck 'N' Run "In Their Honor" fund to help families of Service Members that pass away. We'll also have t-shirts available for purchase, which will also help with the "In Their Honor" fund.

Republic, MO – Meet at Meadowview Baptist Church (1100 W HWY 174, Republic, MO)

Who: Open to all adults.
Republic location: Restrooms will be available at Meadowview Baptist Church. Water can be filled up there too.

Overall Distance: 50K (32 miles)
Ruck weight: Please note, your ruck weight is your preference, choose what feels more comfortable. Easiest 20lbs, moderate 35lbs, advance 45lbs, elite 50lbs+
Fitness level: Advance
What to bring: Must bring your own rucksack, backpack or weighted vest, weight, nourishment, hydration, motivation, and a positive, good attitude. Teamwork!
Children: No children this time. Age 18-20 can attend but 21 is the legal drinking age.
Pets: Only Official Service Dogs are welcomed. If you bring your pet, please make sure your dog is well-behaved and safe around strangers. Bring water and nourishment for your dog. Be mindful, respectful of any waste your dog may leave. In other words, clean up after your dog please. Must be on leash.
Venue: Please be sure to respect and follow all rules, policies and regulations of the venues or areas we ruck and/or pass through.
Safety: You’re encouraged to bring your own first aid kit. There is no designated medical personnel. Communication is by cell phone. Ruck 417, club participants, and Ruck ‘N’ Run are not liable to any injuries, illnesses, and/or causes of death. There is no lifeguard on duty, meaning, each participant is responsible for their own well-being. In the event of a medical issue, we will do our best to assist with seeking professional help. This is not a closed course. Be mindful of traffic and the general public.
Media Release: We take group photos and videos of our events. If you do not wish to be in any media format, please let us know, prior to the event.
